Michael Ballack, the agent of Bayern midfielder Lennart Karl, has commented on the player’s high-profile statement about his dream of playing for Real Madrid.
According to Idman.Biz, citing DAZN, the former Germany international stressed that Karl’s words were said in an informal setting and should not be viewed as a problem. Ballack explained that the footballer made the comment during a meeting with Bayern fans while answering a question about his dreams.
Ballack also emphasized that when working with young players, it is important to preserve their natural character and not force them into the framework of public expectations.
“We do not want to shape the characters of young boys too early in a society where there is already a lot of pressure on how they should express themselves. We want authenticity, we want players that people can identify with,” Ballack said.
The agent also recalled that Karl has gone through all of Bayern’s youth teams and at this stage fully links his development with the Munich club. He added that the statement was spontaneous and emotional in nature and does not reflect the player’s actual plans.
