Chelsea have joined the race to sign 17-year-old Atalanta defender Honest Ahanor, becoming one of the main contenders for his signature.
According to Idman.Biz, citing Caught Offside, the London club are considering submitting an offer of 60 million euros, which is around 120 million manats, to the Italian side. Manchester United and Arsenal are also monitoring the young defender and showing interest in a potential transfer.
In the current season, Ahanor has made 13 appearances across all competitions and scored one goal. His contract with Atalanta runs until the summer of 2028.
Transfermarkt currently values the promising defender at 25 million euros, which is approximately 50 million manats.
