FC Eintracht to play Qarabag match without away fans

German club Eintracht will be without the support of its fans in the seventh round match of the UEFA Champions League main stage against Qarabag.

According to Idman.Biz, this decision was taken by the UEFA Disciplinary Committee. The reason was the behavior of the Frankfurt club’s supporters in the previous round. During the away match against Barcelona, Eintracht fans used pyrotechnics, for which the club was fined 38,000 euros.

In addition, the committee ordered the Frankfurt club to contact Barcelona within 30 days to compensate for damage caused to the stadium infrastructure. According to Sport.es, the Catalan club intends to claim around 6,100 euros for damaged barriers, seats, and sanitary facilities.

As a result of this incident, UEFA decided to ban the sale of tickets to Eintracht supporters for the match in Baku. Consequently, the German team will play the game without backing from the stands.

It should be noted that the match Qarabag vs Eintracht will take place on January 21, 2026, at the Tofik Bakhramov Republican Stadium.
