Manchester City head coach Josep Guardiola shared his expectations ahead of the 6th round of the UEFA Champions League main stage against Real Madrid.
According to Idman.Biz, the match will take place on December 10 at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium.
Discussing the current squad, Guardiola noted that many of the club’s legendary players from the past decade are no longer in the team, but this creates a new challenge and strong motivation for the newcomers.
“The greatest players who have remained such throughout the last decade - Kevin De Bruyne, Walker, Gündoğan, Stones - are not here. We have many newcomers who want to experience the same feelings as the players of the past. They want to know whether they can do what those players did.
The Bernabeu is a great place to show what you are capable of as a team”, - Guardiola’s words were quoted by the club’s press service on social network X.
