UEFA has officially approved the hosting of Champions League matches at Barcelona’s renovated stadium, Camp Nou.
According to Idman.biz citing Mundo Deportivo, the inspection took place during a La Liga home match against Alavés.
UEFA officials checked all key operational aspects of the arena: safety protocols, organization of spectator entrances, internal stadium navigation, and the area designated for away fans. Camp Nou received top marks in every category.
Following the successful inspection, Barcelona has been granted the right to host their group stage Champions League match against Eintracht Frankfurt on December 9.
