Former Real Madrid player Jorge Valdano believes that the team is too dependent on Kylian Mbappe this season, Idman.biz reports.
"At Real, they should ask themselves: where would the team be right now without Mbappe?" Valdano told Madrid Universal.
The 26-year-old forward scored the only goal in Sunday’s La Liga match against Girona, which ended in a 1-1 draw. The star Frenchman converted a penalty and extended his lead in the race for the top scorer in the Spanish championship.
It should be noted that Kylian Mbappe has scored 23 goals and provided three assists in 19 matches under Xabi Alonso’s management this season.
