Germany’s Eintracht Frankfurt has emerged as the club earning the most from player sales between 2021 and 2025, Idman.Biz reports. The ranking is compiled by the International Centre for Sports Studies (CIES), which tracks clubs’ net income from player transfers.
The top five also includes: Brighton (England, +€221 million), Stuttgart (Germany, +€178 million), Atalanta (Italy, +€150 million), and Benfica (Portugal, +€147 million).
The research highlights that mid-tier European clubs are generating significant revenue through successful transfer strategies.
For context, Eintracht Frankfurt will be one of Karabakh’s opponents in the UEFA Champions League, facing the Azerbaijani side in Baku on 21 January 2026.
