Azerbaijani football club “Qarabag” has taken third place in ball recoveries in the first five matches of the UEFA Champions League group stage.
As Idman.Biz reports, the club’s players made 227 successful recoveries, trailing only two teams.
The leader in this statistic is Spain’s “Athletic” with 257 recoveries, followed by Belgium’s “Union”, who recorded 246.
In Matchday 5 of the Champions League, “Karabakh” lost 0:2 away to Italy’s “Napoli” and currently sits 19th in the standings with seven points.
