Football club “Karvan-Evlah” has already begun training under its new head coach following the departure of Azer Gashimov, though the situation surrounding the former manager remains tense.
According to Idman.Biz, citing sport24.az, the club has not yet made any official statements on social media, but the team is working with new head coach Fizuli Mamedov.
Meanwhile, Azer Gashimov, who left his post, is demanding compensation from the club management, emphasizing that his contract is valid until the end of the season. The specialist stated that he does not intend to compromise on the club’s financial obligations.
It is noted that the former coach is following the example of ex-Neftchi coach Samir Abasov, who also insisted on the fulfillment of his contract after leaving and continues to receive his salary until the end of the season. Gashimov was appointed head coach of “Karvan-Evlah” last summer.
