Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk shared his thoughts on head coach Arne Slot after the 3–0 home defeat to Nottingham Forest in the Premier League Matchweek 12, Idman.Biz reports.
“We definitely let him down, but we also let ourselves down. You first need to look at yourself, and then help each other, help get out of this mess, because right now it really is a mess. That’s just a fact,” journalist and insider Fabrizio Romano quoted Van Dijk as saying.
It should be noted that Liverpool currently sits in 11th place in the Premier League. Arne Slot’s team has collected 18 points in 12 matches. Their next game will be a Champions League fixture against PSV.
