Napoli midfielder Kevin De Bruyne has undergone surgery.
According to Idman.biz, the 34-year-old Belgian footballer announced the news on his Instagram account.
De Bruyne suffered an injury in Serie A’s Matchday 8 game against Inter (3:1) and was diagnosed with a torn biceps femoris in his right thigh. He wrote: “Hello everyone! As you know, I’m out for a while. The good news is that the operation went well. My recovery has already begun! Thank you for all your messages!”
It should be noted that this season, the Belgian midfielder has made 11 appearances for the Italian club in all competitions, scoring 4 goals and providing 2 assists. Napoli will host Qarabag in the UEFA Champions League group stage on November 26.
