Fans of Argentina’s Racing football club tried an unusual tactic to distract Flamengo players during their Copa Libertadores semifinal match.
Idman.Biz reports that during the game, Racing supporters threw fake Brazilian currency onto the field. The aim was to divert the attention of the Brazilian players who had won the first leg.
Although the match ended 0-0, Flamengo advanced to the Libertadores final thanks to their victory in the first leg.
For additional context, Qarabag’s former striker Olavio Juninho, who now plays for Flamengo, remained on the bench throughout the match.
