The latest world club rankings have been released.
Idman.Biz reports that according to research by Opta, there have been shifts in the positions of clubs participating in the Misli Premier League compared to the previous rankings.
Azerbaijan’s highest-ranked club, “Qarabag,” has dropped out of the global top 100. The Agdam-based team fell 12 places to 110th. None of the other Azerbaijani clubs managed to enter the top 300.

In addition to “Qarabag,” declines were noted for “Araz-Nakhchivan,” “Sumgayit,” “Gabala,” “Karvan-Yevlakh,” and “Kapaz,” with the latter three losing more than 100 positions each.
On the other hand, “Zira” “Sabah,” “Turan Tovuz,” “Neftchi,” “Imishli,” and “Shamakhi” improved their positions, with “Imishli” achieving a notable rise of 115 spots.
The positions of Azerbaijani clubs in the world rankings are as follows:
110 (-12) “Qarabag” – 81 points
400 (+3) “Zira” – 74.9 points
565 (+5) “Sabah” – 72.9 points
758 (+21) “Turan Tovuz” – 70.7 points
762 (-13) “Araz-Nakhchivan” – 70.7 points
854 (+68) “Neftchi” – 69.9 points
1228 (+115) “Imishli” – 67.0 points
1408 (-21) “Sumgayit” – 65.7 points
1432 (+58) “Shamakhi” – 65.5 points
1525 (-127) “Gabala” – 65.0 points
2098 (-102) “Karvan-Yevlax” – 62.4 points
2144 (-223) “Kapaz” – 62.2 points
The rankings are led by England’s “Arsenal” with 100.0 points. PSG (France – 98.5) holds second place, while Liverpool (England – 97.5) rises to third.
