Slovenia has closed in on Azerbaijan in the UEFA rankings.
According to Idman.Biz, this change came after the third qualifying round of European club competitions.
Last night, Slovenian club “Sele” defeated Ireland’s Shamrock Rovers 2-0 in the UEFA Conference League. This result earned Slovenia a coefficient of 21.718, moving the country up to 26th place. Currently, Azerbaijan holds 25th place with a 22.000 coefficient, while Serbia is 24th with 22.375.
This week, Azerbaijani champions Qarabag lost 1-3 to Spain’s Athletic in the UEFA Champions League group stage.
It is worth noting that England leads the UEFA rankings with a 99.005 coefficient.
