Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford, who joined Barcelona on loan last summer, has expressed his hope to continue his career with the Catalan club, reports Idman.Biz.
The winger is a product of Manchester United’s academy. He has made 426 appearances for the Red Devils across all competitions, scoring 138 goals and providing 78 assists.
“People forget that I spent 23 years of my life at Manchester United. Sometimes, change is simply necessary.
This isn’t the first time I’ve spoken with Barcelona about a possible move, but for various reasons, it didn’t happen before. Now, I finally have that opportunity.
I really like this football club. I think for anyone who loves football, Barcelona is one of the key clubs in the history of the game. Of course, I hope to stay here,” Rashford told ESPN.
