The memory of former Portugal national team player Diogo Jota, who tragically died in a car accident, was honored during yesterday’s UEFA Champions League third-round match between “Eintracht” and “Liverpool.”
According to Idman.Biz, the German club’s management displayed Diogo Jota’s name on the stadium’s electronic scoreboard, symbolically adding him to Liverpool’s list of substitutes.
It should be noted that the “Eintracht”–“Liverpool” match ended in a 5–1 victory for the English club.
