Barcelona midfielder Fermin Lopez Martin achieved a remarkable milestone, Idman.Biz reports.
He scored three goals against Olympiacos in the third round of the UEFA Champions League group stage, becoming the first Spaniard in history to record a hat-trick for Barcelona in the competition.
“Blaugrana” won the match 6:1, with goals also from Lamine Yamal and Marcus Rashford, who scored twice. Olympiacos’ lone scorer was Ayoub El-Khabi.
At 22 years old, Lopez is a product of Recreativo, Betis, and Barcelona. With Spain’s national team, he has already won the 2024 Paris Olympics, the 2024 European Championship, and a silver medal in the 2025 UEFA Nations League.
