Today, “Qarabag” will play their next match in the UEFA Champions League group stage.
According to Idman.biz, the Azerbaijani champions will face “Athletic” in Spain.
The match at the “San Mames” stadium will be officiated by Croatian referee Igor Pajac and will kick off at 20:45 Baku time.
Qarabag, coached by Gurban Gurbanov, currently has 6 points and sits 10th in the group, while Bilbao, who lost their first two matches, is 35th.
It should be noted that the Azerbaijani champions defeated Portugal’s “Benfica” 3:2 in the first round of the group stage. In the second round, they won 2:0 at home against Denmark’s “Copenhagen.”
