Azerbaijani FIFA referee Elchin Masiyev has received an appointment.
Idman.Biz, citing AFFA’s official website, reports that he will serve as the head referee for the UEFA Europa League Group Stage Round 3 match between Genk (Belgium) and Real Betis (Spain).
Elshad Abdullayev and Parvin Talibov will assist Mesiyev as assistant referees. Tural Gurbanov will act as the fourth official. German referee Robert Schroeder will serve as VAR, and fellow Azerbaijani Nijat Ismayilli will function as AVAR.
The match is scheduled to take place on October 23 at Genk Stadium in Genk.
