The 11th round match of the Belgian Pro League between Standard and Antwerp was prematurely halted due to an incident caused by fans.
According to Idman.Biz, Standard took the lead 1-0 in the first minute with a goal by Rafiqi Said.
However, in the 87th minute, Antwerp fans began throwing plastic cups at the referees. Following the incident, the head referee decided to stop the match.
The game was not resumed afterward. Now, the home team (Standard) may be awarded a technical victory.
