Inter Miami and Argentina forward Lionel Messi has launched a new football project - a tournament for players aged 16 and under.
According to Idman.Biz, the Messi Cup will bring together some of the world’s strongest academies and clubs to spotlight the next generation of football stars.
“I’m happy to finally share this with you: this December in Miami, a special youth football tournament will take place with the participation of top clubs from around the world. The future of the game will be fully on display, and it’s not just about matches - we’ll have incredible days filled with exciting events. It’s all for the next generation. I hope you’ll enjoy it! This is the Messi Cup,” the Argentine wrote on his Instagram.
