AFFA has paid compensation to Fernandu Santos, who was dismissed from his position as head coach of the national team.
According to Idman.Biz, citing Qafqazinfo, AFFA Secretary General Cahangir Farajullayev confirmed the payment.
It was reported that all terms of his contract were fully honored.
Although AFFA has not officially disclosed the amount, sources indicate that Santos received 1.8 million euros (3.7 million AZN) in compensation.
It is recalled that Fernandu Santos was dismissed on the 8th of last month.
