Today, Azerbaijan’s U-21 national football team will play its next match in the European Championship qualifiers.
Idman.Biz reports that led by head coach Rashad Eyubov, the team will face the Czech Republic away. The match will be officiated by North Macedonian FIFA referee Jovan Kacevski and will take place at Karvina City Stadium, starting at 20:00 Baku time.
Currently, Portugal leads Group B with six points, followed by the Czech Republic also on six points. Bulgaria has four points in third place, Scotland has three in fourth, Azerbaijan sits fifth with one point, and Gibraltar is last with zero points.
Previously in the qualifiers, Azerbaijan suffered a 0:5 away loss to Portugal and drew 1:1 at home against Bulgaria.
