The management of Manchester United is reportedly in talks with new investors regarding the sale of the club.
According to Idman.Biz, Saudi advisor and minister Turki Al-Sheikh shared the news on his social media account.
The 44-year-old advisor expressed confidence that the new owner would be better than the previous one: “The best news I’ve heard today is that Manchester United is about to finalize an agreement with a new investor. I hope they will be better than the previous owners.”
However, the club has not issued any official statement regarding the potential sale.
It is worth noting that the current owners, the Glazer family, have long faced criticism from fans over the management of the club.
