Brazil national team player Rodrygo has described his absence from the squad as a difficult period in his career.
According to Idman.Biz, the Real Madrid forward was struggling to earn the trust of Xabi Alonso and lost his place in the starting lineup at the Santiago Bernabéu during the summer.
His former coach, Carlo Ancelotti, has now recalled him to the Brazil national team for the upcoming friendly matches in October against Asian giants South Korea and Japan.
“It was a long and difficult period being away from the national team. But it allowed me to calm down and get myself together. Now I’m ready to help the team again,” the player said.
