Idman.biz citing La Gazzetta dello Sport, reports that club president Aurelio De Laurentiis and head coach Antonio Conte carefully studied how the player could influence both the team’s play and the fans, and considered including him in the club’s project. However, this idea was not implemented to maintain squad balance and cohesion after winning the Serie A title.
Since January 2025, Neymar has been playing for Brazilian club Santos. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €11 million.
