“Qarabag” footballer Emmanuel Addai’s goal has been named the best goal of the week in the UEFA Champions League.
Idman.biz, citing official website of the European football organization, reports that the selection was determined by fan voting.
The 24-year-old forward celebrated scoring in the second match of the second round in Baku against Danish side Copenhagen, netting Qarabag’s second goal.
Other nominees included Erling Haaland from England’s Manchester City, Jordan Teze from Monaco, and Ismael Saibari from Dutch club PSV.
In the match held on October 1, Qarabag defeated Copenhagen 2-0.
