“The match against Copenhagen is very important for Qarabag,” said Qarabag player Leandro Andrade at a press conference, Idman.biz reports, citing Report.
The midfielder shared his thoughts ahead of Qarabag’s UEFA Champions League group stage Round 2 match against Denmark’s Copenhagen in Baku:
“We will try to make the Azerbaijani people happy. We have another chance to do that. This is a very important match for us.”
Andrade added that the stadium suits the team well: “We will do our best on the field. The opponent is a strong team, there is no weak club in the Champions League. We will do everything to win. We are fully focused on this match.”
The Qarabag vs. Copenhagen game will take place on October 1 at 20:45 at the Tofiq Bahramov Republican Stadium.
