Glasner dismisses Manchester United links amid Crystal Palace success

Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner has admitted he is “following” rumours linking him to Manchester United but dismissed suggestions he could replace Ruben Amorim soon.

Idman.biz reports that the Austrian has guided Palace to an 18-match unbeaten streak, matching the club’s longest ever run, and ended a 164-year silverware drought with an FA Cup win over Manchester City and a Community Shield triumph against Liverpool.

Despite United’s struggles, including a Europa League final defeat and a low Premier League start, Glasner remains focused on Palace. “I’m following all the rumours, and that’s all they are, neutrally and completely relaxed,” he told kicker, emphasizing consistency and quality players as key to success.

While Palace sit third in the Premier League, United are 14th despite having a squad valued at over €1 billion, compared to Palace’s €337 million. Glasner, however, stresses patience: “We’re not currently worrying about final standings… last season started poorly and ended with a record points haul.”
