The international Guba Open chess festival will bring together 266 players from 10 countries.
44 players will compete in the A tournament, which kicks off on July 16, Idman.biz reports.
The B tournament has registered 222 participants.
Chess players from Germany, Israel, Kuwait, Ukraine, Latvia, Turkiye, Georgia, North Macedonia, and India will take part in the Guba Open.
The event is organized by the Azerbaijan Chess Federation as part of the Chess Tour Azerbaijan project.
