The top seed for the international chess festival Guba Open has been announced.
Azerbaijani chess player Mahammad Muradli will lead the list in the tournament starting on July 16, Idman.biz reports.
The festival will feature 42 players, including Yevgeny Romanov (North Macedonia), Vitaliy Bernadskiy (Ukraine), Mikheil Kekelidze (Georgia), and Khagan Ahmad, who won the Lankaran Open last weekend.
The competition will be held in a Swiss system format over 9 rounds.
