The Chess Tour Azerbaijan tournament, organized by the Azerbaijan Chess Federation, continues with the Lankaran Open festival.
38 players are competing in Tournament A and 140 in Tournament B, Idman.biz reports.
In the main event held in Lankaran, 16 participants claimed victory in the first round. Among the winners are Ukrainian player Vitaliy Bernadskiy, young Azerbaijani talent Khagan Ahmad, as well as Murad Ibrahimli, Vugar Manafov, and others.
The festival consists of 9 rounds and is being held in a Swiss system format.
