Azerbaijani chess player Namig Guliyev is set to take part in the French Open Championship.
The tournament will be held in Saint-Maur-des-Fossés and played in rapid chess format, Idman.biz reports.
The event will feature a 9-round rapid tournament on June 14, followed by a 13-round blitz competition the next day.
A total of 608 players are expected to compete in the championship.
