Muradli suffered his second consecutive defeat in the seventh round, losing to Iran’s Sina Movahed, Idman.biz reports.
With 4 points, Muradli currently ranks 24th, falling behind fellow Azerbaijani player Shiroglan Talibov, who also has 4 points but leads on tiebreak criteria after defeating India’s Iniyan P.
Meanwhile, Aleksei Grebnev (FIDE) has taken the lead in the tournament with 6 points.
