The Chess Stars 5.0 tournament kicks off today in Moscow, featuring rapid chess matches among elite players.

The lineup also includes Sergey Karjakin, Vladislav Artemiev (both Russia), Raunak Sadhwani (India), Amin Tabatabaei (Iran), Hou Yifan (China), Bibisara Assaubayeva (Kazakhstan), as well as Aleksandra Goryachkina, Ekaterina Lagno, and Valentina Gunina (all from Russia).
The tournament, held at the Azerbaijan Pavilion, boasts a prize fund of 15 million rubles (approximately 315,000 AZN).
