Baku Open leader set to face European Champion

The fifth round of the Baku Open chess festival will take place today.

The tournament’s sole leader is Azerbaijani grandmaster Mahammad Muradli, Idman.biz reports.

Muradli has been in outstanding form, winning all four of his games so far to maintain a perfect 100% score. In the next round, he will face European champion Aleksandar Indić from Serbia.

The Baku Open boasts a prize fund of $55,000 and has attracted nearly 700 players from 16 countries.
