Teimour Radjabov advanced in the FIDE ranking

FIDE announced the February ranking of chess players.

Idman.biz reports that Teimour Radjabov has the best performance among the members of the Azerbaijan national team.

The Azerbaijani chess player, advancing 2 places, is 25th with 2723 points. Shakhriyar Mamedyarov dropped 2 places and fell to 26th place. He has 2722 points in his asset.

Rauf Mammadov (2651), who dropped by 1 place, fell to the 88th place. After a month's break, Nijat Abbasov returned to the "100" again and ranked 96th with 2641 points.

Arkady Naidich, a former member of the Azerbaijan national team, who is still the representative, is 74th with 2661 points.

Norwegian Magnus Carlsen (2830) leads the rating table. He is followed by USA honors Fabiano Caruana (2804) and Hikaru Nakamura (2788).

Gunay Mammadzada has the best score among the Azerbaijani female chess players. She maintained her position. The 26th ranked team member has 2449 points. Ulviyya Fataliyeva (2384) ranked 65th, Govhar Beydullayeva (2374) ranked 76th, Gulnar Mammadova (2351) ranked 100th. In the list where Govhar moved up one step, Ulviyya went down one place, Gulnar went down three places, while Khanim Balajayeva, who was 99th last month, left the "top 100".

The list is headed by Yifan Hou (2632) from China. Wenjun Ju (China, 2559) took the second place, Humpy Koneru (India, 2554) took the third place.
