Ilaha Gadimova, secretary general of the Azerbaijan Chess Federation (ACF) and a two-time youth world champion, has held a simultaneous chess exhibition at the 46th World Chess Olympiad in Uzbekistan.
As reported by İdman.Biz, citing the Azerbaijan Chess Federation, Gadimova played against several opponents on multiple boards at the same time as part of the event held during the Olympiad.
Gadimova is one of Azerbaijan's prominent chess figures and represented the country in major international competitions during her playing career. She currently serves as secretary general of the national federation.
The 46th World Chess Olympiad is being played under the Swiss system over 11 rounds and will conclude on September 27.
Azerbaijan is represented in both the Open and Women's sections of the competition.
