The Azerbaijani national men’s boxing team will continue its preparations for the World Championship in Georgia.
The team will head to the city of Gori today for the final stage of their training camp, Idman.biz reports.
Head coach Ravshan Khodjaev, along with coaches Nariman Abdullayev and Etibar Abdullayev, have called up Subhan Mamedov (50 kg), Nijat Huseynov (55 kg), Mahammadali Gasimzade (60 kg), Zaur Gahramanov (65 kg), Sarkhan Aliyev (70 kg), Saidjamshid Jafarov (75 kg), Murad Allahverdiyev (80 kg), Surat Garayev (85 kg), Alfonso Dominguez (90 kg), and Mahammad Abdullayev (+90 kg). The team will focus mainly on technical and tactical training in Gori.
The camp will conclude on August 29.
The World Championship will take place from September 4–14 in Liverpool, England.
