Azerbaijan’s U-23 men’s boxing team has traveled to Turkiye for a training camp.
According to Idman.Biz, citing the Boxing Federation’s press service, the team will train in Kastamonu until November 17 under coaches Yadigar Mammadov and Elvin Mamishzada. Participants include Subhan Mamedov and Bilalhabashi Nazirov (both 50 kg), Amin Mammadzada (55 kg), Tagi Nasibov (60 kg), Ali Abdullayev (65 kg), Nijat Alirzayev (70 kg), Farhad Sheydayev (75 kg), and Sabuhi Alizade (+90 kg).
The camp, organized together with the Turkish national team, serves as preparation for the U-23 European Championship. Sparring sessions are also planned in Kastamonu.
It should be noted that the U-23 European Championship will take place from November 23–29 in Budapest, Hungary.
