The Azerbaijani national youth boxing team has returned home after achieving success at the European Championship held in Ostrava, Czech Republic.
According to Idman.Biz, the team was welcomed at Heydar Aliyev International Airport by representatives of the Boxing Federation, members of the sports community, boxing fans, and the athletes’ families.
The U-19 national team claimed one gold, one silver, and three bronze medals at the tournament.
It should be noted that this is the first time in 16 years that Azerbaijan’s youth national team has earned five medals at a European Championship.
