The U19 European Boxing Championship continues in Ostrava, Czech Republic.
According to Idman.biz, on the second day of the competition, two more Azerbaijani boxers secured victories.
In the 50 kg category, Bilalhabashi Nazarov advanced to the quarterfinals by defeating Curt McIntyre of Ireland 5:0 (30:27, 30:27, 30:27, 30:24, 30:27). He will face Maksim Shlakhoviy of Ukraine on October 4.
Zidan Humbatov (55 kg) also won his bout against Ahmet Yılmaz of Turkiye, defeating him 5:0 (28:27, 29:26, 29:26, 30:25, 29:26). Humbatov will compete against Sasha Mencaroni of Italy in the quarterfinals on October 5.
The European Championship is scheduled to conclude on October 9.
