For the new season, Absheron Lions, representing Azerbaijan in the European Basketball Cup, have strengthened their roster with a new signing.
The club has signed 27-year-old Nijat Mammadli, who spent last season with Sarhadchi, on a one-year contract, Idman.biz reports.
Standing 2 meters tall, this marks Mammadli’s return to Absheron Lions. He previously played for the team when it was known as AAF Khirdalan and Khirdalan.
