The Azerbaijan U18 women’s national basketball team has departed for Minsk, the capital of Belarus.
The team, led by head coach Evren Alkaya, will hold a training camp there, Idman.biz reports.
This camp is considered a key stage in preparation for the European Championship. In addition to tactical, technical, and physical training, the team will also play several friendly matches in Minsk.
The training camp will conclude on June 19.
It’s worth noting that the European Championship will take place from July 4 to 13 in the Lithuanian cities of Alytus and Vilnius.
