The qualifying stage of the 3x3 Basketball World Cup in Baku starts today.
The group stage matches in the men's competition will be held today, Idman.biz reports.
6 teams will compete in two groups. The Azerbaijani national team will compete in Group B.
Azerbaijan team, consisting of Orkhan Aydin, Amil Hamzayev, Nazar Guliyev and Kamran Mammadov, will play its first match against Canada. Azerbaijan team will finish the group stage with a match against Great Britain.
Group A will feature Montenegro, Rwanda, Iran, and Group B will feature Canada, Great Britain, and Azerbaijan.
