A new head coach has been appointed for Azerbaijan’s U16 women’s national basketball team.
Idman.biz, via Report, reports that Turkish specialist Ferhat Akcan has taken over the role, replacing Evren Alkaya, who will now focus solely on coaching the U-18 national team.
Prior to this appointment, Akcan served as an assistant coach at "OGM Ormanspor", a team competing in Turkey’s Second Basketball League.
This coaching change aims to strengthen the development of young female athletes and improve the team's performance in upcoming international competitions.
