The Los Angeles Clippers have made a remarkable double move, signing both the shortest and the tallest active players in the NBA on the same day. As reported by İdman.Biz, the club has added two players who sit at opposite ends of the league’s height spectrum.
Japanese point guard Yuki Kawamura, standing at 168 cm, is currently the shortest player in the NBA. Last season, he featured for the Chicago Bulls, making 18 appearances, averaging 11.6 minutes, 3.4 points and 2.6 assists per game.
Kawamura also played 11 games for the Bulls’ G League affiliate, where he impressed with averages of 18.7 points, 5 rebounds and 11 assists.
On the same day, the Clippers signed centre Jamareeon Sharp, who stands at 226 cm, making him the tallest active player in the league. He previously played for the Dallas Mavericks.
As a result, the Los Angeles Clippers have brought in two players who represent the physical extremes of the NBA in terms of height.
