Ganja Basketball Club have begun restructuring their squad for the upcoming season by parting ways with three American players.
As reported by İdman.Biz, the regional club have bid farewell to Delano Spencer, Jacob Wiley and Corey Reeves, whose contracts have expired.
Spencer was one of Ganja's key performers last season. The guard averaged 14.6 points, 3.8 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 1.5 steals across 24 Azerbaijan Basketball League games.
Reeves also played a leading role for the team. The 29-year-old forward averaged 15.2 points and eight rebounds per game, making a significant impact at both ends of the court throughout the campaign.
Wiley joined Ganja midway through the season, signing a deal until the end of the campaign. The two-metre-tall center strengthened the team's frontcourt during the closing stages of the season.
The trio were all part of the Ganja squad that lifted the 2026 Azerbaijan Cup, defeating Sabah 89-82 in the final to claim the trophy for the second time in the club's history.
Ganja also reached the semi-finals of the Azerbaijan Basketball League, where they were eliminated by Sabah after losing the best-of-three series 2-0. The second and decisive game in Ganja ended in a 78-73 victory for the Baku side.
