Eighteen-year-old Dallas forward Cooper Flagg set a new NBA record in a game against the Utah Jazz, which ended in a 140:133 loss for his team.

According to Idman.Biz, Flagg was the top scorer for Dallas, finishing the game with 42 points.

With this performance, Flagg became the first player in NBA history to score 40 or more points in a single game at the age of 18. The previous record belonged to LeBron James, who scored 41 points at the age of 19 years and 88 days.
