American comedian and actor Bill Bellamy recalled a funny episode involving legendary basketball player Shaquille O’Neal during the 7PM in Brooklyn podcast with Carmelo Anthony, Idman.Biz reports.
“Shaq is the first person I ever saw with a stun gun. They weren’t even sold back then, but he already had one. This is a true story. We were sitting in the kitchen — about eight people — and he’s like, ‘Hey, bring me that box.’ Everyone asks, ‘What is it?’” Bellamy said.
According to the comedian, Shaq mysteriously added, “You won’t believe it, this is crazy. Nobody else has this.” The group thought he was talking about a watch or something like that.
“He opens the little box — and there’s a stun gun. And Shaq says, ‘Who wants me to hit them with it to see how it works? I’ll give a thousand dollars.’
One of the people agreed, after which, according to Bill, panic broke out: ‘Everyone started yelling, ‘Stop! Pour water on him!’”
